For Circular Dischroism measurements we are using a Jasco Inc. model J-810 instrument. We are using it mainly for determination of secondary structure of polypeptides and enzymes. It can be used in our case to measure Circular Dichroism or Linear Dichroism. The range is 163 - 1100 mm. It can be used for chemical denaturation studies but also for thermal denaturation using a Peltier temperature controll. The data acquisition and temperature control are done using Spectra ManagerTM. It can be used for solution or thin films on quartz.
