About the journal

High School Research Journal (HRJ): This journal publishes research papers in the fields of science, technology, engineering, and mathematics that is conducted by high school students. It is associated with the National Science Foundation (NSF) supported research program of Prof. Prabhakar. The high school students are invited to submit their research contributions for the upcoming May issue- 2019. They will be evaluated by high school teachers serving on the editorial board of the journal. There is no financial interest and any copyright information should not be submitted.

Papers should be submitted via email (rpr@miami.edu) to Prof. Rajeev Prabhakar, department of chemistry, University of Miami, Ph. 305-284-9372.

Deadline for submission: August 15, 2021.

Research criteria for submission:

  • Short abstract (not more than 70 words)
  • Introduction
  • Experimental details
  • Results and discussion
  • Conclusion
  • Acknowledgements
  • References
  • 300-500 words excluding abstract, acknowledgements and references + 1-2 figures

Note: Researchers may need permission from Principal Investigators or Supervisors to publish research. Principal Inverstigators and/or Supervisors may be listed as co-authors.
